Parent Information

Morning Arrival

  • The building opens at 7:10 AM for student drop-off daily. Students are not allowed to enter the building before 7:10 AM.
  • From 7:10 to 7:30 AM, all students will report to the cafeteria or go directly to their classrooms. Staff members and the Safety Patrol will be on duty to support students in the hallways.
  • If students are eating a school breakfast, they will be served from 7:10 to 7:30 AM.
  • Instruction begins at 7:35 AM. Students are considered tardy if they are not in the classroom by this time.

Morning Car Arrival

  • Drive through the front entrance, where you'll see our designated crossing guard.
  • We will use two lanes for morning drop-offs. Lane 1 is the lane closest to the building. In a single line, follow the direction of our staff to fill the lane before directing your child to exit the car. Lane 2 is the parking area. GO TO LANE 2 if you are parking your car and walking them to the crosswalk. Please wait for the staff member to allow you and your child to cross safely. It is unacceptable to drop your student off in the car in lane 2 and have students walk alone on the crosswalk. It is not acceptable to drop students off in lane 2 and have them walk across the crosswalk alone. For safety reasons, all drop-offs must occur in lane 1 with adult supervision.
  • To ensure a consistent and efficient arrival for all students, please have your child ready (book bag, lunchbox, jackets, etc.) before exiting on the right side of your car.
  • Parents are to stay in their vehicles as staff members will be present to assist your child.

Car Rider/Bus Afternoon Dismissal

  • Transportation changes must be made in writing and given to the front office by 1 PM. We do not take changes over the phone, email, text, or Class Dojo for safety reasons. You may check your child out up until 1:00 PM (starting 11/10/2025).
  • Parents will register their car rider(s) during Open House or through the front office and will receive a car tag for their review mirror. A staff member will walk the lane, call out the tag numbers, and assign students to Stations 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 at the side of the building. Please do not exit your car to pick up students. Please be patient during the first three days of school, as the lines tend to be long at the beginning of school.
  • If you do not have your tag, please park and bring your ID to the front office. Students will be released to their parents in the front office once the car rider line is completed (usually 2:35 PM). Be sure to update your pickup list through the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus.

TES After-School Program

  • Parents will pick up students entering through the bus ramp doors only between 2:45 PM and 6:00 PM. After-school student pick-ups are not allowed during daily school dismissal hours.

Let's have an amazing school year!
