How to Refer Your Child To Gifted Education
Once a child is referred to gifted education they will be screened for testing. This means we will look at data and classroom performance to evaluate whether or not a child will be tested. Once students pass the screener, they will be placed on the testing roster. Usually there are two rounds of testing. Gifted testing takes place once in the fall and once in the spring. Kindergarten students are tested in the spring only.
