Assistant Principal: Asha Lomax

Welcome, Tussahaw Grizzlies and community! It is truly a pleasure to serve your students and all stakeholders in this community. I am committed to working alongside our administration team to support student growth and to help lead our school in fulfilling its mission and vision.

I am originally from California, but I have proudly called Georgia home for over 20 years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, a master’s degree in Elementary Education, and a specialist degree in Leadership. Over the past two decades, I’ve had the joy of teaching 2nd–5th grade, working in ESE, and serving as an SSF. My passion for education comes from my mother, a retired kindergarten teacher, and my greatest inspiration. I believe that every child can learn and that their circumstances do not define their future.

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, photography, reading, and spending time with friends and family. I am so excited to be a part of this community, and I am looking forward to a successful school year! Go Grizzlies!
