At Tussahaw Elementary, we partner with our stakeholders to advance the educational experiences of our diverse community, using our differences to instill in our students a sense of responsibility and respect for themselves, their families, their school, and their community.
Focus: ON - Promoting Distraction-Free Learning Environments
Beginning for the 2025-2026 school year, HCS students in grades K-12 are not permitted to display or use a cell phone, smartwatch, or other electronic communication device on school property during the school day.
STEM for All
HCS is cultivating a dynamic learning environment that includes offering science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) educational opportunities across all grades.

Congratulations to our amazing Educational Support Personnel of the Year, Mrs. McLean! 🎊 As a dedicated former MOID Paraprofessional, Mrs. McLean has consistently shown compassion, patience, and a true heart for students. We are so proud of her as she steps into her new role as an IRR Teacher, her impact is sure to grow even greater!
